God’s Gracious Way. Worship: June 19, 2021 (Repost from June 13, 2021)
Jesus went to the other side of the lake. He wanted to share God’s Gracious Way with everyone. Isaiah the prophet had heard God promise, “I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me.” Jesus wanted to offer God’s Gracious Way to everyone, even to us. For this we are grateful and thankful.
This week we are reposting a service from last summer. Please enjoy “The Kingdom of the Mustard Seed. Worship: June 13, 2021” the service description is listed below the audio.
Jesus tells us that the mustard seed "is the smallest of all the seeds on earth, yet when it is sown it grows up and becomes larger than all the garden plants and puts out large branches, so that the birds of the air can make nests in its shade" (Mark 4:31-32). Jesus wants to spark the imagination of His listeners. Almighty God is infinite and creative. God loves to see life thrive and grow. God’s Kingdom is a place where small things are significant. Jesus’ story is about all this and more. We celebrate all the wondrous ways God can care and nurture us today and forever.
